2024/3/3 Aylus Dix Hills work as assistant teachers for better education
Aylus Dix Hills partners with Long Island School of Chinese to help young students obtain better education. Volunteers work as assistants/helpers in various classes.
Some tasks include printing classwork, grading homework, preparing materials, answering student questions, and keeping students on tasks. Overall, the students greatly assisted teachers to ensure a smooth and efficient class.
This opportunity, additionally, allowed volunteers to have experience as a “teacher” in managing a class while also benefiting the Chinese school.
