On Tuesday, August 8th: The volunteers greeted the residents that were enjoying the sun outside, before going inside to prepare the snack for the morning, they wrapped a few cookies into napkins and poured some orange juice and water, before taking them outside on trays. The residents appeared to enjoy the sweet treat, hydrating eagerly from the warm weather, after their snack, the residents were taken inside to read the daily chronicle together. After reading, the volunteers took out bells and led the residents in a short sing-a-long. A few word games were played as a finale, before the volunteers took the residents to the dining hall and bid goodbye.

On Friday, August 11: The volunteers scooped and cut pears, then scooped out pudding and yogurt on top. After taking some walks, the residents began their exercise with pool noodles and weights. While the volunteers took away the tools, the cups of fruit were passed out, and a few of the residents who couldn’t eat solid food were fed extra yogurt. After cleaning up the remaining cups, the residents read the daily chronicle. They spent some downtime together, listening to music and admiring flowers. They then transported the residents to the dining hall, before bidding goodbye.

On Sunday, August 13: The volunteers led the residents through a thorough workout. They stretched out their hands, fingers, and arms, also working on the legs so their feet and legs wouldn’t become swollen. They then started cutting and peeling bananas, handing them out. Some residents appeared to heavily enjoy the fruit, while others declined the offer, so extras were given as well. They hydrated with cranberry juice and water, before passing out and reading the daily chronicle. As the day heated up, the residents were moved outside to enjoy the sun, and a few other guests performed for the residents. Afterwards, the residents were moved to the dining hall for lunch.
