Edmond Branch Hosts Science Workshop on 7/15

This week, the Edmond Branch hosted their third week of the science workshop, where they had the participants construct catapults using rubber bands, pencils, tape and boxes to encourage teamwork and exposure to STEM subjects. Both team and individual projects were allowed, leading to the creation of around ten catapults, all of which’s ideas originated from the children, with volunteers occasionally providing prompts, suggestions and advice when they hit a dead end.

In addition, Judy and Joanna lead the event, and spent extra time planning and testing the experiment and preparing the materials on Friday.
