In September, the Greater Princeton Branch of AYLUS (GPA) prepared for its 5th Youth Benefit Concert & Arts Show in the Large Chapel at Fellowship Deaconry (3575 Valley Rd, Basking Ridge, NJ 07920), scheduled for December 10th, 2022, from 10-5 pm.
GPA has independently hosted 4 successful youth benefit concerts & art shows, one for Ms Su Wei battling cancer, one for Princeton First Aid & Rescue Squad (PFARS) to support its Campaign for the Future with a new headquarters, and two to support local first responder heroes in January and June 2022. Our members worked hard to raise over $5000 for Ms Su Wei, $5000 for PFARS, and $10,000 for the Meals from the Heart projects.
Starting in December 2018, GPA members have hosted over 120 Save a Life events to help people in need, with many fundraising and donation drives. Now it’s time for us to continue our Youth Benefit Concert program to help save more lives.
The 5th Youth Benefit Concert & Arts Show is to raise funds to End Alzheimer’s. Members will use the funds collected to support local senior living centers, first aid rescue squad, ambulance & firefighters. Details of the concert are on the posters. A signup starts right away, with the list growing longer and longer!
The Arts Show is occurring at the same location on the same day, to help End Alzheimer’s. GPA Vice-President Lana Cheng (fundraising: 9/2, 3 hrs; 9/4, 3 hrs) is hosting the Arts Show, with her Arts for Life Committee members.
The Benefit Concert is organized by AYLUS National President and GPA Co-President Kevin Chen & GPA CPO Jerry Chen (for both: fundraising, with CCTS and more, 9/4, 2 hrs; 9/5, 2 hrs; 9/7, 2 hrs; 9/9, 2 hrs), together with GPA CPO Victor Yu (9/1, 2 hrs; 9/3, 2 hrs; 9/5, 1 hr, fundraising with Ann Hair Salon and more), Vice President Steven Li (9/3, 3 hrs; 9/5, 3 hrs), and other leaders, including Xing Liao (9/3, 3 hrs fundraising with Lucy Hair Salon), Tian Liao (fundraising with Jiali Diane Chen Local Realtor, 9/9, 2 hrs), Jeffrey Jiang (9/3, 2 hrs; 9/5, 3 hrs), Katherine Shi (fundraising, 9/3, 2 hrs; 9/5, 3 hrs), Katherine Zhu (Fundraising with Dentist and Eye Doctors: 9/1, 2 hrs; 9/4, 2 hrs; 9/6, 4 hrs), and more.
