Greater Princeton AYLUS Volunteers at Farmers Market (9th) in December 2021

In December, the Greater Princeton branch of AYLUS (GPA) volunteers continued to help our local community at Farmers Market.

Market Runs Rain, Snow or Shine – seriously! Especially on yucky weather days, our farms and vendors rely on your attendance. Grab a winter coat & boots, your bags, and bring your positive sunny attitude to Market!

They helped hand out and carry out food boxes, helped set up, guide clients through and clean up the food distribution. Shopping and helping others go hand in hand. Stop in for a few hours or spend the day- lots of volunteer opportunities to fit their skills and schedule. Lots of tasks to help keep the farmers market going.Volunteers from Yes, We CAN! will be at every market collecting cash donations and non-perishable foods to benefit the Arm in Arm food pantries of Princeton & Trenton.

Arm in Arm shelf stable requests (no glass): Maseca corn flour, Oatmeal, Grits, Cereal, 100% Fruit Juice, Canned Vegetables, Canned Beans, Canned Fruit.

GPA Participants (12/19, 3 hrs): Helen Tung, Ping Su, Chris Cirkus, and more!
