Greater Princeton AYLUS Volunteers at Mercer Street Friends Food Bank (3rd-4th) in June 2021

Starting this summer, the Greater Princeton branch of AYLUS (GPA) members went to the Mercer Street Friends Food Bank (824 Silvia Street, Ewing, NJ 08628) to help organize donated food items.

GPA honors the equality of all people and strives for a just, prosperous, and peaceful society for all. We respond to the needs of the community to build alliances that will have the most meaningful impact in addressing issues of poverty. 

GPA members create a range of integrated services that build community, nurture self-worth and independence, and offer resources for children, families, and communities to overcome poverty and its lasting effects.

Participants on 6/29 (3.5 hrs for all): Sarah Yan, Erick Yan, Alissa Wu (also making food donations, 2 extra hrs); Gina Shen, Cosner Yang, Pearl Song, Ricky Fan, Fiona Fan, Sophia Wang, Grace Li, Cynthia Jinghui Huang, Steven Li, Elizabeth Ma, Audrey Wang, and more.

Participants on 6/30 (3.5 hrs for all): Xiying Fan, Kathie Wang; Xin Chen, Xiangcheng Ying, Fengqi Wen, Haoyu Wu, Grace Li, Cosner Yang, Pearl Song, Cynthia Jinghui Huang, Steven Li, Elizabeth Ma, Audrey Wang, and more.
