Greater Princeton AYLUS Continues Math Tutoring for Kids (65th) in April 2021

In April 2021, student members of the Greater Princeton Branch of AYLUS (GPA) teamed up and continued teaching kids in the subjects of math.

GPA member Annie Miao (4/25, 2 hrs): This week, Annie and her tutee continued their discussion about inequalities with solving for variables and using number lines. They also used inequalities with linear equations on a graph.

GPA member Annabelle Huang (4/25, 2 hrs): This week Annabelle tutored math to a local middle student.

GPA members Karen Yang (4/25, 2 hrs) and Kevin Song (4/25, 2 hrs): This week we continued our Algebra content! First, we answered a warm up question and then started with some problems surrounding ratios (our next chapter). We encouraged the students to use algebra to solve these word problems. We then began three number ratio word problems, setting up the problems and letting the students take charge. We also had some harder problems involving more steps! Next, we played a virtual game from Gimkit and we introduced homework. We’ll be having class next week!
