Greater Princeton AYLUS Continues Math Tutoring for Kids (56th) in February 2021

In February 2021, student members of the Greater Princeton Branch of AYLUS (GPA) teamed up and continued teaching kids in the subjects of math.

GPA members Karen Yang (2/21, 2 hrs), Kevin Song (2/21, 2 hrs), Kathy Yang (2/21, 2 hrs) continued Algebra content! This week we continued our Algebra content! First, we gave the kids a warm review of plugging in values into equations. After, we started our lesson with some multi variable expressions and checked student answers. Then we did some distributing and factoring practice and a final challenge problem that encapsulated everything from before. Next, we played a Gimkit game. Finally, we introduced homework and we’ll be having class next Sunday!

GPA member Annie Miao (2/21, 2 hrs): This week, Annie continued to go over Standard Form with her tutee and how to find points on a line given a known x or y value. They went over the rules of Standard Form and graphing a line that is written in that form.

GPA member Annabelle Huang (2/20, 2 hrs): Annabelle tutored a middle school student from her township math.
