Greater Princeton AYLUS Leads Nationwide Winter Clothing Drive in November 2020

No one should go cold this winter. The health effects of extreme cold are life threatening. The unprecedented crisis created by the COVID-19 Pandemic is affecting the lives of millions of people. Families who were already struggling are now at severe risk, and many cannot pay their utility bills. The need for coats this fall and winter will be greater than ever before.

On November 5th, the Greater Princeton Branch of AYLUS (GPA) started its Winter Clothing Drive. To provide winter clothing to more people in need across the country, we encouraged more AYLUS branches to join GPA for this nationwide Winter Clothing Drive. So far, Williamsville Branch in NY, Gladstone Branch in NJ, Columbus Branch in OH, RSM Branch in CA, and many more branches across the country plan to start this event to help their communities.

After donations collection, AYLUS will deliver the donated items to local charity organizations, such as Goodwill and Salvation Army for prompt distribution to people in need.

GPA member Alissa Wu leads this project along with AYLUS National President Cassie Tammy Wang, GPA Vice President Fengqi Wen (11/10, 3 hrs), GPA members Anthony Yang and Audrey Wang, who promote the event and accept clothing donations from their respective areas in the State of New Jersey.

Below are Additional Clothing Donations:
