On August 1st, members of the Williamsville branch of AYLUS hosted their 8th reading group meeting for students entering grades 7-10 over ZOOM. They went over some writing techniques and tips for argument writing and gave some background information on their new novel, Born a Crime, by Trevor Noah. They’re looking forward to starting this new novel with the attendees and also hope that attendees will continue to improve and enhance their English and writing skills over the course of the summer. Williamsville AYLUS will continue to hold reading group meetings each week.
