East Cobb Branch Partnered With Marietta Maker Station To Assemble Shield Mask XI

On July 25th, 2020, the AYLUS East Cobb Branch continued their partnership with the local volunteer group The Maker Station at Marietta to assemble and package the much-needed face shields for the various public services in Cobb County.

Nine members volunteered that day and were split into pairs to two different tasks. Gary, Jack, and Jay assembled the stickers to the face shields while Katherine, Kevin, and Emilie cut the straps used to assemble the facial shields. Jerry and Maxwell worked together to create another variant of the facial shields, which were also assembled. Nick worked to staple the straps to the facial shields.

After hours of work, the four members assembled roughly 200 face shields and packaged all of them.

Advisor Frank Jiang donated $200 to ABC on behalf of the branch, the fund was from Maxwell Jiang and Nick Vincent parents, it will be used to support material supply and logistic cost for ABC.
