East Cobb Branch ‘Give a hand’— Making Easter Cards for Senior Centers on April 11, 2020

Despite these rougher times, the East Cobb Branch still reaches out to the local community to help support and encourage them. Two of the East Cobb Branch members Susanna Huang and Selina Huang, as well as their younger brother, made cards for the seniors to help brighten their day. They spent an hour and a half writing cards and drawing little illustrations to encourage the seniors as well as to wish them a happy Easter. Later, they spent two hours and half recording various interesting things to provide relief to the seniors from the negative news of the Coronavirus situation by showing them happy, joyful, and entertaining things in the video. Susanna Huang, in turn, edited the videos by trimming them, putting the video parts together, and adding better color tones to the video to better ensure that the message to the seniors will be bright and happy. They sent their video clip to the video editors Faith Huang and Katherine Sha whom made the final product. Working as a team to help our community is extremely important especially during these hard times. The AYLUS East Cobb Branch is thankful for all the senior centers and their staff whom are diligently working hard to take care of the seniors in our community.
