Greater Princeton Collaborates with Columbus, Phoenix, Spring, and Miami Branches in Editing “The AYLUS Times” (2nd) on October 15, 2019

On October 15, 2019, the Greater Princeton Branch of AYLUS (GPA) collaborates closely with AYLUS Columbus, Phoenix, Spring, and Miami branches in editing the 2nd issue of “The AYLUS Times”. We expect the monthly newsletter to help improve communication among AYLUS members nationwide and advocate for the concept of “Community Service” wherever it applies. 

The two pages of “The AYLUS Times” covers quite unique volunteering activities at six branches, including San Diego, Pearland, East Cobb, Greater Princeton, Columbus, and Fairfax. In addition, in the page of A1, it made Announcements regarding: (1) Congrats to the Winners of Branch of the Month Award for September 2019; (2) Join us on Walk to End Alzheimer’s Events nationwide; (3) AYLUS International Art Contest, please notice that any students of grades 4-12 can submit their favorite artworks without a specified theme. Winners will receive award certificates and more (deadline: December 31, 2019). 

The 2019-2020 Editorial Board of “The AYLUS Times” comprises the following eight members, with their branch names and service times included:

Editors: Amber Yu (Greater Princeton, NJ; 3 hours), Celina Xiong (Greater Princeton, NJ; 3 hours), Katherine Wei (Phoenix, AZ; 3 hours), Katlin Shek (Spring, TX; 3 hours), Luke Yang (Miami, FL; 3 hours), and Xin Chen (Greater Princeton, NJ; 3 hours).
