Greater Princeton AYLUS Promoted Traditional Culture (29th) with Newspaper “Junior Reporter Times” on August 7, 2019

Greater Princeton AYLUS (GPA) continued its 29th “Culture Promotion” event on August 7, 2019. The GPA Junior Reporters authored articles, while Art Editors made layouts and art illustrations for the Newspaper “Junior Reporter Times”.

The 29th Issue of Junior Reporter Times offers 8 pages of interesting articles on a variety of topics written by more than 20 Junior Reporters. On page A2, GPA Junior Reporter Richard Wan spent 2 hours to create an attractive art illustration for the article discussing the popular payment style using a cell phone App “WeChat” in China. On page A6, GPA Junior Reporter Meryl Li spent 3 hours to share with people how she became in favor of learning Chinese. 

On pages A7 and A8, three GPA Junior Reporters, Amy Lin, Elizabeth Yunjue Li, and Angelina Yingying Liu, each spent 3 hours to author an article of their own about the same Benefit Music Performance they hosted on June 29th, 2019, to support Ms. Su, Wei, who is a beloved teacher in Princeton area for more than 20 years, and fighting cancer on herself. 

GPA Junior Reporters and Art Editors, Celina Xiong, spent 2 hours to make layouts of page A3, while Sophia Chen, spent 4 hours to make layouts of pages A7 and A8. As the Art Editor-In-Chief, Cassie Tammy Wang, spent 4 hours to have all 8 pages reviewed and revised, ensuring they were attractive to the readers, and typo free.
