Greater Princeton AYLUS Promoted Traditional Culture (28th) with Newspaper “Junior Reporter Times” on July 17, 2019

Greater Princeton AYLUS (GPA) continued its 28th “Culture Promotion” event on July 17, 2019. The Junior Reporters authored articles, while Art Editors made layouts and art illustrations for the newspaper “The China Press Junior Reporter Times”.

The 28th Issue of Junior Reporter Times offers 8 pages of interesting articles on a variety of topics written by over 20 Junior Reporters. On page A3, GPA Junior Reporter Sophia Chen spent 3 hours sharing a story about her grandfather. On page A5, GPA Junior Reporter Meryl Li spent 3 hours to tell people how good a “chef” her father is at home, while Angela Li spent 3 hours to share a “Not So Great” experience losing a Frisbee game. On page A6, Cassie Tammy Wang authored an article that recalling her unique learning path of swimming. 

On pages A4 and A5, GPA Junior Reporter Richard Wan spent 4 hours designing two art illustrations for two articles both on how to better learn Chinese. GPA Junior Reporter Rebecca Yuan also spent 2 hours creating an art illustration for an article on page A6, with the theme of “Love”. On page A7, Stephanie Wang spent 2 hours designing her art illustration for an article “I am your dream”. On the same page, Kevin Zhao spent 2 hours creating his art illustration for another article about trees.

GPA Junior Reporter and Art Editor, Catherine Feng, spent 4 hours to make layouts of pages A1 – A4, while the Art Editor-In-Chief, Cassie Tammy Wang, spent 4 hours to have all 8 pages reviewed and revised, ensuring they were attractive to the readers, and typo free.
