Columbus Branch Held a In-Person Tutoring session at Abbey Church Village on April 6th, 2023

On April 6th, 2023, members of the AYLU-Columbus branch held another in-person tutoring session at Abbey Church Village in Dublin, Ohio, as part of the weekly tutoring program. This community is part of the national church residences and serves low income families, including new immigrant families.

Four AYLUS Columbus members, Max Wang, Brenna Li, Ayden He, and Catherine Harman helped 4 elementary or middle school students with their math and English homework. Catherine Harman’s mother, Jennifer, was the adult supervisors of the session.
As a result of effective communication with the parents, the pupils all brought their homework or other worksheet to the session, allowing them to make the best use of the tutoring session.
