On August 1st and August 29th, Greenwich AYLUS branch member Annabel Zhou hosted virtual creative writing club meetings for middle schoolers (1.5 hours on August 1st and 1.5 hours on August 31st). Our writing club encourages middle schoolers to write based on their own interests and provides guidance and feedback on their writing.
On August 18th, Greenwich AYLUS branch member Annabel Zhou (0.5 hours) and Emma Mao (0.5 hours) hosted a book club meeting for elementary kids. Annabel facilitated the in-person discussions and Emma led the virtual discussion. Our book club promotes reading for young readers in Grade 2 and 3. Out of My Mind by Sharon Draper was the book selected by our book club and will be discussed at our next meeting.
