The members of the East Cobb Branch of AYLUS punched holes for a total of 1,200 plastic films. These films were a part of a larger project where they 3D-printed face shields for local hospitals to aid them in the fight against COVID-19.
Six holes were punched into each clear plastic sheet to be fitted onto the 3D-printed frames. The holes were punched with a standard hole punch.
The East Cobb Branch hopes to help local hospitals and healthcare workers as much as they can in this difficult time. Making face shields is one of their activities in which they make and provide PPE to hospitals in need.
