The North Oakland spent some time to collectively make some cards, trying to make sure that the Seniors of Oakland didn’t feel in these rough times. They wrote about what they were doing at their homes during quarantines and wrote simple jokes that made their day. We dropped them off to practice social distancing, but we heard all about their happiness from the letters. Overall, the North Oakland Branch were happy to take their time to write these letters of joy to encourage the community. They hope to continue supporting their community through any means.
