Greater Princeton Collaborates with Columbus, Phoenix, Spring, and Miami Branches in Editing “The AYLUS Times” (3rd) on November 15, 2019

On November 15, 2019, the Greater Princeton Branch of AYLUS (GPA) collaborates closely with AYLUS Columbus, Phoenix, Spring, and Miami branches in editing the 3rd issue of “The AYLUS Times”. We expect this monthly newsletter to help improve communication among AYLUS members nationwide and advocate for the concept of “Community Service” wherever it applies. 

The two pages of “The AYLUS Times” covers quite unique volunteering activities: AYLUS National Event: 8 branches [Columbus (OH), San Diego (CA), Houston (TX), Chapel Hill (NC), Birmingham (AL), Greater Princeton (NJ), Phoenix (AZ), and Rancho Santa Margarita (CA)] – walked to End Alzheimer’s; Phoenix Held a Bake Sale throughout Neighborhoods; Cary volunteered at the Raleigh Foodbank; East Cobb awarded $500 for tutoring; Fort Bend holds contest tutoring; Rancho Santa Margarita made book drive for a library; AYLUS members at Greater Princeton put an influence on local legislation, proposing to ban or reduce the usage of a single-use plastic bag in West Windsor, NJ; Psychology Committee – Learning and Practical Sharing of Positive Psychology.

The 2019-2020 Editorial Board of “The AYLUS Times” comprises the following eight members, with their branch names and service hours listed:
