On September 28, 2019, the East Cobb Branch of AYLUS held the East Cobb Youth Tutoring program at East Cobb Library. There were three students that showed up with one tutor to help the students from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
The East Cobb Branch holds the Youth Tutoring program during school days, giving kids an opportunity to receive help in reading and math. The tutors help the kids to have a comfortable and enjoyable experience, while also helping the students learn and understand concepts.
This time, the tutor taught 3 students and worked with them on various math and reading subjects. The tutors helped the students to better understand different concepts such as solving a math problem or reading. There is a new come in student who took one hour on reading, the 2nd grade girl like to read verbal book with the tutor, the mom appreciated tutor’s hard working and patient.
