Greater Princeton AYLUS “Earth Team Volunteers” Worked at the Natural Resources Conservation Service (2nd) on July 12, 2019

Reported by Cassie Tammy Wang

Greater Princeton AYLUS (GPA) “Earth Team Volunteers” worked at the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), an agency of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) on July 12, 2019, from 8 am to 5 pm (9 hours).

The work of GPA Earth Team Volunteers will allow NRCS to stretch available resources and plus additional conservation practices on the ground. The work is considered important, because it improves NRCS customer service and the environment for all.

So far Cassie has helped get the Somerset NRCS publication inventory organized, finished a project for the Civil Rights Advisory Committee, and created the flyer announcing the August 30 EQIP Application Deadline for all producers.
