AYLUS Bellaire Branch Volunteered at Evelyn’s Park to clean up trash on July 12, 2025

Evelyn’s Park is a well-loved social gathering site for the Bellaire and Greater Houston community. With families and children playing on its playgrounds and enjoying meals at Betsy’s, a restaurant in the park, Evelyn’s Park is prone to litter being left behind. To beautify and continue the park’s significance as a clean and family-friendly space, the AYLUS Bellaire Branch held a cleanup event on Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 7:00pm-8:00pm. Volunteers collected various types of trash from around the park, including plastic bottles, straws, utensils, and more. Four full bags of garbage were disposed of at the event’s conclusion, contributing to a cleaner environment and a safer park.

4 AYLUS volunteers participated in this event (7/12, 1 hour): Isabel Li, Charisee Ding, Edward Cai, Evelyn Liu.
