On Sunday, July 6th, 2025, AYLUS Bellaire volunteered at the Nature Discovery Center for their Splash Day event. The Nature Discovery Center is a nonprofit nature center that aims to teach children about science and the importance of nature. Splash Day was an event organized for kids to play and have fun with bubbles and other water-related activities.
Volunteers set up the front lawn with kiddie pools, sprinklers, toys, bubbles, and other games. They also set up a refreshment table for the children to cool down if they needed to. During the event, volunteers encouraged kids to play with the games, made sure the sprinklers were functioning, and refilled kiddie pools if needed. After the event ended, the volunteers cleaned up the area and helped pack away all the equipment and materials.
