AYLUS Great Neck participated in a Farmers market on July 15th following the first week on June 1st. In this second Farmers Market we continued to sell the stock of homemade items in order to raise money for the community. Organizers gathered at 9:30am to set up the function and officially started at 10:00 a.m. From there volunteers worked until 2:00 while changing the shifts of people working after 2 hours. In the event volunteers ran many stands such as face painting, fan making, and cashiers. The onetime we raised will be going towards Adventure in Learning program in Great Neck, ie, an after school program for low-income families and other non profit organizations.
