Members of Fort Bend branch volunteered at the water station at the St Paddy’s Half Marathon 2019 in Sugar Land, TX. Our responsibility is to set up and staff the course water station, fill cups ½ with water, distribute trash bins past the station and provide runners and walkers with water as they pass and cheer them on. After the last walker has passed the station we cleaned up all waste, broke down the table and returned unused water and supplies to the race coordinators.
