Greater Princeton AYLUS Brought Lots of Joy to Seniors at the Rose Mountain Care Center in New Brunswick, NJ

Reported by Cassie Tammy Wang

AYLUS Greater Princeton, NJ Branch (GPA) has a year-round “Music from Heart” project. Talented members are encouraged to look for opportunities to give music performances at locations that “music from heart” will bring their community a lot of joy.

On the last Sunday of each month, GPA member Larry Liu visits and performs at the Rose Mountain Care Center in New Brunswick, NJ, where rehabilitative services as well as long term care, respite and hospice services are provided. For example, Larry Liu proudly gave a tap dance solo of Michael Jackson’s famous piece “Billie Jean” on January 27th, 2019. In additional, Larry and Heidi Pan presented together another tap dance of the popular “Song of Tomorrow” interpreted by Wang Junkai. All seniors at the Rose Mountain were appreciative of the performance and enjoyed it very much.

Well done at Rose Mountain, Larry and Heidi!
