Riverside County AYLUS Members Create Bags for the Homeless During the Month of November 2024

As the colder season approaches, RCA members focused this month on supporting the homeless community. Several members assembled care bags containing essential items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, hand warmers, socks, hygiene pads, protein bars, tea, coffee, cough drops, umbrellas, lotion, and more. The members went out to procure the items through purchases and donations. Then they wrote uplifting cards and included them when they put the bags together. In total, the group created close to 60 bags. Recognizing the challenges many face, including living paycheck to paycheck and the increasing homelessness caused by rising inflation, the group aimed to provide both practical support and uplifting messages to those in need.
