Greater Princeton AYLUS Supported the Inaugural Chinese New Year Celebration Event in Trenton, New Jersey

On the night of February 5th, the City of Trenton kicked off Inaugural Chinese New Year Celebration event, hosted by the Mayor Walter Reed Gusciora, who has served as the Mayor of Trenton, New Jersey since 2018.

AYLUS Greater Princeton, NJ Branch (GPA) fully supported this “Culture Promotion” event, and invited 3 GPA talented members, Cathy Li, Angela Li, and Liz Zhao, to perform on the stage between 4 and 7 p.m.

The Inaugural Chinese New Year Celebration event was quite attractive, presenting the thousands of attendance a variety of instruments, e.g., the “one-man-band” and violins; Chinese Folk Dancing; Chinese Instrument Guzheng Duet; Vocal Solos; Chinese Dragon Dance and Martial Arts.

GPA members Cathy and Angela Li played a Violin Duet, and Liz Zhao sang a beautiful Chinese folk song in front of all attendance.
