20181027 East Cobb Young Musicians 2018-2019 School Year Performance III

On October 27th, five of East Cobb Young Musicians went to perform at the Sunrise senior center and Arbor Terrace senior center. We kept our commitment to perform once a month at least for those senior residents. There, we played music for an hour at both senior centers. There were flutes, violins, and pianos. The seniors loved the performance and wanted us to go again. Due to schedule conflict, we had a small group of players this time.

At Sunrise, seniors were waiting for us when we arrived, they were very excited, “Look, they are coming!” one of the senior told others when she saw us at the gate. They loved our performance, and many had met with some of our students the day before. On the previous day, we had just performed 2 birthday celebrations there. We performed duets and solos, and all loved it. Then, at Arbor Terrace, the seniors especially welcomed us. When we first arrived, many were about to leave for another event, but when they heard we would be performing, they decided to stay. At the end, they applauded and even offered us some snacks.

Attendance: Howard Hua(2 hours), Salinas Huang(2 hours), Susanna Huang(2 hours), Maxwell Jiang(2 hours), Asad Yamin(2 hours).
