On December 10th, 2023, AYLUS, took part in Lights and Ice at Firefighters Park event with special needs children. Because of the holidays season coming up, the Great Neck Park District organized a two day event that provides activities such as visits from Santa, cookies decorating, and ice skating. On top of that, many services was available as well, like igloos, fire pits, as well as nostalgic trolley rides. The special needs children, along with our branch members, enjoyed the time we had at the event. I am delighted with this week’s special holiday activities in that our branch members and the friends we’ve played with for three months now can enjoy and experience the holidays spirit together.
