On July 10th AYLUS Twin Cities members volunteered at the Special Olympics Minnesota regional Metro Golf event. The members were in charge of checking in Metro Golf volunteers who were helping in different positions for Special Olympics, and helping the participants with the event sheet. Special Olympics is a organization that supports athletes with intellectual disabilities. We volunteered for 5 hours, from 8-1pm. It was a very meaningful experience volunteering with Special Olympics and knowing that our work would help support this big event. Our members enjoyed the time with them. We hope to volunteer again!
