On June 30, several AYLUS members volunteered at a Concerts in the Park event at Independence Park. The volunteers were divided into two groups. One group worked at the event information booth, helping to organize the raffle for later that evening. They monitored survey completion and passed out tickets at the desk and guests sitting on the lawn. The other group of AYLUS volunteers set up a booth to promote AYLUS Pearland. They displayed posters that illustrated AYLUS Pearland’s main activities and introduced AYLUS’ missions and goals to the guests. Volunteers also provided fun activities such as bag tossing, tattoos to attract kids’ visit. It was a successful and fun event marked the end of the Concerts in the Park 2023 Series.
