AYLUS Triangle Branch brought festive cheer to the local retirement community with its first ever Christmas concert. On December 3, 2022, AYLUS visited the Carolina Meadows retirement community to share music. It was planned and organized by AYLUS Triangle President Han Tianyi and Performance Department Olivia Li. A total of 12 volunteers participated in the event, including piano, violin duet, Various instruments and styles including clarinet and zither, all of which are associated with cheerful Christmas melodies.
Beginning in November, Han Tianyi led Olivia Li, director of AYLUS performances, to contact and coordinate retirement communities for the elderly, visit venues, plan concert programs, rehearse actors, and make program lists.
Despite a sudden downpour on the day of the concert, the AYLUS team arrived at the Carolina Meadows retirement community to perform for the residents.
Residents were impressed and grateful for the talent and musicality of the young performers. This concert is a testament to the power of music to bring people together and brighten their day. The AYLUS team’s dedication to community service is evident and their performance is a shining example of how young people can make a difference in their communities.

Overall, the Christmas Concert was a success and AYLUS remains committed to bringing joy and entertainment to retirement communities and other venues throughout the community. The organization looks forward to continuing to make a difference in the lives of seniors and others who need it most.
