Volunteers from AYLUS worked with Journey’s End Refugee Service, an organization whose mission is to help refugees adjust to the United States and assist them in becoming independent and involved members of their community, on April 7th, 2023, at their April Break day camp.
Today the volunteers, pointing out different animals and facts, walked around the Buffalo Zoo with the children. They visited popular locations, like the rain forest house, the tiger enclosure and the reptile house, before congregating in the main picnic area for a pizza party.
