Greater Princeton AYLUS Works on Frog Survey with Plainsboro Preserve (2nd) on March 10th, 2023

On March 10th, the Greater Princeton Branch of AYLUS (GPA) volunteered on a frog survey project at Plainsboro Preserve (80 Scotts Corner Road, Cranbury, NJ 08512). 

The “Frog Survey” project at Plainsboro Preserve needs a group of volunteers. The Preserve wants to get a better understanding of the frog species and populations here. It is a weekly monitoring where volunteers go out to different locations in the preserve and record data by listening to frog calls.

The survey takes place during the evening hours, through (depending on the weather) March-August. 

GPA volunteers studied the frog calls, and checked out the locations (3/10, 0.5 hr): Eric Li, Mia Leran Pan, Sean Shenyao Xu, Lauren Finkel, Meiqi Tan, and more.
