Aylus Greater Triangle March 9, 2023 Food Bank Sorting and Packing Sweet Potatoes
Wanying Xu went to the food bank to sort sweet potatoes for the under-resourced community.
“The food bank received a large amount of d
onations from the local farmers and markets. I did visual check for every sweet potatos to guarantee food security. Afterward, I packed the ones that are safe to eat into family sizes. Over the course of 6 hours, we were able to provide more than 30,000 meals for the people in need.”
