Rancho Cucamonga Branch attended senior center Valentine’s dance party on 02/10/2023

On February 10th, 2023, the James L Brulte Senior Center in Rancho Cucamonga hosted a Valentine’s Day dance for seniors in the city. The event was attended by seven volunteers from the AYLUS Rancho Cucamonga Branch, who were all high school students from the local community.

The AYLUS volunteers were excited to be able to provide volunteer service for the elderly and help make their experience at the dance as enjoyable as possible. They were tasked with serving food, which included hamburgers, mini corn dogs, salad, cupcakes, chips, and condiments. Despite popular demand for some items, the volunteers did their best to accommodate all guests.

In addition to serving food, the volunteers also helped welcome the seniors and clean up afterwards. They were commended by the center staff for their enthusiasm and hard work, and the room looked spotless after the dance.

Overall, the AYLUS volunteers made a positive impact on the seniors at the James L Brulte Senior Center, and they hope to participate in more community events like this in the future.
