On February 5, 2023, Murrieta AYLUS members Jessica Lu and Hsin-Chen (Julie) Lu helped out with The Little Garden of Hope project. When they arrived, the members were pleasantly surprised to see that the white radish sprouts had grew new leaves even after being almost entirely consumed by the animals. They quickly got down to work. Seeing that the leaves on a couple succulents had been drooping, they decided to repot them, moving the succulent to corners of the beds instead. After they finished, the members worked to clear two more beds. After they finished, they cleaned up and moved the pots of succulents to their car before leaving.
