The Chattahoochee Nature Center hosted Winter Wonderland on December 11, 2022 to bring holiday vibe to the children and their families. The Enchanted Woodland Trail featured fairy houses and gnome homes along the path. The farm house was decorated to host two reindeer. There were also crafts and games tables at the lawn.
Samuel was directing traffic in the parking lot and helping with fire pit. He performed well in his role greeting visitors, giving directions and answering questions. It was joyous seeing the children bundle up, slow down, and search for those whimsical houses made of natural objects as they stroll the trails.
On January 16, 2023, Isabel Liu participated in the Martin Luther King Jr Day of Service at the Chattahoochee Nature Center. She worked in and around the Unity Garden, pulling weeds, digging trenches, and tidying up the furrows and garden beds.
