On January 21st, the Greater Princeton Branch of AYLUS (GPA) started a new volunteering project at Plainsboro Preserve (80 Scotts Corner Road, Cranbury, NJ 08512).
Plainsboro Preserve’s new monitoring project is called “Frog Monitoring”. With the help of volunteers, the Preserve wants to get a better understanding of the frog species and populations here. It will be a weekly monitoring where a group of volunteers will go out to different locations in the preserve and record data by listening to frog calls.
This will take place during the evening hours, through (depending on the weather) late February-August.
GPA volunteers (1/21, 2 hrs): Amber Yu, Eric Li, Dylan Li, George Chen, Emma Liu, Sara Yu, Sophia Yu and shuchen Yu, and more.
