On December 10, 2022, an Aylus Rancho Cucamonga branch member volunteered at the VEX IQ Tournament held at Pasadena-Washington Elementary STEM Magnet from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Before the event starts , the volunteers were divided into roughly three positions:
queuing, field reset, and referee.
Our position was queuing , so we had to work with the other three partners to find the members who needed to be matched up according to the number on the form and to make sure they were on time for the competition.
The amazing work of the children and the enthusiasm of the planners throughout the competition made it a success and wonderful event.
This volunteer activity was very meaningful, as our organizational and coordination skills as volunteers were enhanced and also strengthened our skills in teamwork.
