On Saturday, Dec. 3rd, nine members of Aylus Greater Buffalo volunteered at the Special Olympics New York Polar Plunge at Woodlawn Beach State Park. Their goal was to raise $300,000 to support our local Special Olympic Athletes. Volunteers registered participants, sold merchandise, took photos, worked at the raffle and sold tickets, and assisted in counting the donation money. Students, individuals and sponsors raised $450,000 for Special Olympics NY.
