On December 3rd, 2022, members Jessica Lu, KaiXi (Cathy) Liu, and Adora Xiao went to their local food bank, Western Eagle Foundations (WEF) to help. When members got there, the staff expressed how happy they were to see them and said they had lots of organizing for the members to do. So, members got to work right away, starting by arranging the food shelves. Then they moved on to beauty products, medicine, toiletries, and toy sections. Since most shelves were pretty disorganized, members spent most of their time organizing. For the last portion of their time there, members were given 3 carts to put back on the shelves. The carts were sorted by cleaning supplies, food, and Costco items. They finished all carts in no time and walked through all the isles for a last quick check. Members enjoyed their visit back to the food bank and look forward to next time.
