From Wednesday, November 23 to Sunday, November 27, five Aylus Twin Cities volunteered virtually on the Citizens Archival Website. Each volunteer did 30 min – 1 hour of work and was responsible for transcribing historical documents and tagging them for easy search and organization. Through the process, we learned about a variety of topics, such as US exports, historical documents from specific states such as Montana and California, and National Parks in the United States. After the webpage was updated, many more documents needed to be transcribed, so we were glad to help.
