On September 30th, 2022, members of AYLUS RC Branch participated in the annual Hoedown event at Floyd M Stork Elementary. The event was a huge success and brought together families from the entire school community. Volunteers were needed to assist with various activities, and our team worked alongside three other high school volunteers to provide support.
Our team of six members, Yongxi Hu, Mengyu He, Yuxuan Liu, Yangxuezhe Sun, Caren Sun, and Zixuan Wang, provided four hours of service to the event. We were responsible for running three games and two members answered questions at the prize exchange. It was hard work, as we stood for the entire four hours, but the happy smiles of the children made it all worth it.
In addition to our team of six, Danyao Zhao and Rick Sun also provided three hours of service. Together, we helped make the event a memorable one for all who attended. It was a great opportunity for us to give back to our community and support the school in their efforts to provide a fun and safe environment for families.
We are proud to have been a part of this event and look forward to continuing support our community.
