On October 9th, members of the West Essex branch, and members of the Greater Princeton branch of AYLUS , served at Summit Reeves-Reed Arboretum (165 Hobart Ave, Summit, NJ 07901).
Volunteers are essential to the mission of Reeves-Reed Arboretum and are one of the greatest strengths of the organization. They provide vital support in the gardens and make special events and festivals possible. Our diverse volunteer network includes students, retirees, avid gardeners, teachers, nature lovers, corporate groups, those looking to volunteer for a few hours, and those looking to volunteer on a regular basis.
AYLUS members decorated the wildflower trail with Halloween themed props, animatronics, lights, spider webs, skeletons, yard signs, etc. Their works turned the flower trail to a spooky trail for the visitors to enjoy the season.
West Essex members: Jasmine Chen (3 hours), Victoria Chen (3 hours), Ava Huynh (3 hours), Alex Jiang (3 Hours), Joselyn Kwan (3 hours) and Kaylen Lee (3 hours)
