On August 6, 2022, 17 members of the AYLUS Bellaire Branch volunteered at the Back to School Fair from 8:30-11:30 AM.
The Back to School Fair hosted in the Houston America Cinemas provided school supplies, produce boxes, and free-immunizations to refugees, immigrants, and underserved residents. The volunteers were separated into 2 groups. 5 members stayed at the America Cinemas to help organize and hand out pre-packed backpacks and act as guides. The other 12 moved and carried school supplies, chairs, and tables to the headquarters. Afterwards, they returned to the America Cinemas and joined the other members to distribute hundreds of backpacks.
