Paria Vahdat has been our branch’s Historian since last year, and is now stepping down to focus on other extracurriculars after contributing greatly to AYLUS. Paria has made all our flyers since January and wrote our first few event reports on our website (Noah now writes our reports as Secretary). She was an extremely dedicated volunteer this past year, and has been among our first AYLUS Volunteer Service Award recipients and was able to receive the President’s Volunteer Service Award before its pause at the end of May.
Paria was the first of our dedicated executives since we reformed our Executive Board. She has been an integral part of my decision-making and supported me as a friend and co-worker in the early stages of starting the North Hollywood branch of AYLUS. I appreciate her greatly, and I hope you all take the time to recognize her efforts and appreciate her as all us executives of AYLUS North Hollywood do.
