On June 17th, 2025, Murrieta AYLUS members helped their local food bank.
Members started the morning off by making food boxes to prepare for the 9:30 am rush. Each food box included meats, deli, veggies/fruit bags, bread, dessert, milk, and any other extra things the food bank had. After the 9 am meeting, some members were asked to help outside to load food boxes onto the client’s cars. The others stayed inside, helping sort produce and making food boxes. Around 12:00 pm, the food bank closed, so members helped clean up. They wiped down tables with cleaning spray and towels and cleaned up the floors.
